the Las Vegas Fontainebleau Project

Case Study

This case study demonstrates Frascio’s comprehensive capabilities on one of Las Vegas’s most prestigious hospitality developments. For the 3,600-room Fontainebleau Las Vegas Resort and Casino, Frascio delivered multiple custom hardware solutions that required sophisticated engineering and design coordination. Working with renowned firms including Bergman Walls & Associates, Carlos Zapata Studio, David Collins Studio, and Rockwell Group, the project showcased Frascio’s ability to translate high-level design concepts into functional, code-compliant hardware systems.

The scope included bespoke lever adaptations for Saflok electronic access control systems, custom tubular leversets for guest rooms in both minimalist and luxury “stacked coin” designs, and specialized lever adaptations for Von Duprin exit devices to maintain design continuity across front-of-house applications. This technical complexity required close collaboration with electronic lock engineers and precise conformance to OEM specifications while preserving the aesthetic integrity specified by the design team.

Beyond levers, Frascio created an extensive range of custom door pulls throughout the property, from hand-hammered brass semi-circle pulls to ornate retail establishment hardware developed from conceptual sketches. The project demonstrates Frascio’s capacity to deliver both standard commercial solutions and completely bespoke designs that elevate luxury hospitality environments, reinforcing their position as a partner capable of executing world-class projects from concept through installation.
